Don't think I am this mismanaged mom, but it just happened.
My two year old dd just manages to get into everything. A bit earlier she comes over to me with my birth control pills and has this big smile on her face, showing me she has one in her mouth. I quickly tried to get it out but she was quicker and swallowed it.
I phoned poisen control and my pediatrician, bh they both said not to worry. I am a bit, thou.

On the insert that comes with the pills it says that it is not dangerous if a child swallows it. Obviously keep it in a safer place now that you know she can get into it, but don't worry and don't feel guilty. It happens.
