What did you do today?

Yesterday, back with dear foster son and the 8 & 9 yr old friends (their mom had to work chol hamoed), we went letterboxing, which is a hike or nature walk combined with a treasure hunt. We hiked to Liberty Dam, which is in the same general area as our field trip on Tuesday: the McKeldin area of Patapsco State Park. 35 minutes from Baltimore. Free (no charge to park where we were hiking).

The votes are in for most fun field trip:

DearFosterSon, age 7: letterboxing

This morning the kids are watching a DVD movie so I can cook... and write Imamother posts. DS#2 is at Shul now but will be going back to his yeshiva in Pennsylvania for Yontef. And I'm waiting for DS#1 to check in by phone from Yerushalayim before Shabbos.

Rubber Ducky, letterboxing - that sounds like so much fun. Did you organize it or did you go to one that was organized professionally? All the trips you posted made me want to hang out with you:)
