The Unstuffed Cabbage
no idea where I got this recipe from; it's good though
1 pkge (lb) ground turkey or chicken
1 bag (16 oz) grated cabbage (or half a head)
olive oil
salt, pepper, nutmeg & cinnamon; I used 5 spice mix
clove garlic
small onion
small can (8 oz) tomato sauce
juice of half a lemon
You sautee your cut up onion in some oil, then add the meat and brown it well. Add your cabbage and cook until wilted; about 20 minutes. Add the sauce, spices, and lemon and let cook until done, about another 5-10 minutes.

wow I make it SO DIFFERENTLY!!!! I put in ground chicken and veal, cooked rice, sauteed onions, eggs, form balls and cook it in tomato sauce & tomato juice with half a head of shredded cabbage, sugar and salt.
