Meta lasagna has both starch and protein, so I usually just make soup and a big salad.

I could teach you to make rice in a pot if you want. But the easiest way to make rice is in the oven.

But 1 C. rice with 2 C. water in med. size aluminum pan. Cover and bake about 1 hour.

For a little tastier:

1 cup uncooked regular rice.
4 cups boiling water
½ stick margarine
3-4 T. onion soup mix

Combine all in an aluminum tin pan. Cover and bake on 350 for 2 hours.

This is a little sticker, but delicious.
