My 5 week old hasnt had a bowel movement in 2 days and is gassing away.
Is he constipated? Is there anything to do? I am exclusively nursing.

try sticking a lubricated (with vaseline) thermometer gently up his rectum-it's supposed to stimulate the muscle to go
good luck

Yes, it's normal. A baby is not considered constipated unless the stool is hard when it finally comes. If the baby is uncomfortable, that would be a sign to try stimulating the bowels.
