my dd is 2.5 and does not chew her food well she throws up once in a while and her food comes up whole
pasta goes straight down chicken one bite and down potatoe chips one bite and swallow and then her eyes tear up ..I keep telling her to chew and I show her how it helps for first few bites and thats it..does she need therapy??

evaluate her for services. even if she will not be eligible for services, if the evaluator is good she will be able to give you tips on how to work on her chewing skills.

If you are in the NYC area, you can call any early intervention agency for free of charge evaluations and services, if she is found eligible. May I recommend Challenge 718-972-0880, I've used them and they were great!
