hey, I did a search on imamother to see what I how I can get the color out of the clothing. just want to double check before I try anything.
1. is rid available in israel? is there an israel equivilancy?
where can I get ahold of it?
2. for the baking soda trick- I just pour in a half a cup of baking soda into the drawer where the detergent goes? what temp water?
and can I do it for colors also? (pink things turned purple )

Don't know what "Rid" is. However, I was told (by a dry cleaner) that once the clothing item has been through the dryer you have sealed in the colour. This has also been my experience, and I hang to dry as much as possible. Wash on cold where possible.

thanks 4 the info but the clothing were air dryed anyhow...
greenfire (maybe there should be a way to tag the person like fb ) has a baking soda trick....

NO NO NOT RID!!!
RID is a remedy for lice.
RIT is the company that makes dye-at-home textile dyes as well as color remover that can be used to remove dye that bled onto fabric. They also make a whitener for white synthetics that have turned tattletale grey. The color remover works. I have not found that the whitener will make an old white slip look new.

Use Rit color remover on the whites. Follow the instructions on the packet.
And soak the colored items in Oxiclean (per directions on container.)
