I was unaware of that. I knew you could make whole blogs private on blogspot, but individual posts?

I've seen posts on blogs that I'm pretty sure were Wordpress and Blogspot that needed passwords to read them.

Well, you learn something new everyday. I just started blogging with wordpress and it's good to know you can protect certain posts. Not that I think I'll use it, I think it's best to just define an audience and write for them - it gets too complicated once you start addressing different groups.

That is a pretty strange website, GreenEyes, I must say!

Anyway, op, another thing to consider is if you plan on advertising eventually on your blog. Blogger lets you post ads, wordpress does not (though you can transfer your site to your own domain, I think). I have no idea about livejournal.
Also, explore which blogging platform gives you the most flexibility in terms of your blog's appearance.

Lol I know, it's a pretty trashy blog. But sometimes it's the perfect pick-me-up when I'm struggling with my life. Being a frum Jew is hard sometimes! And this woman - classic secular tale of over 30, overs-exed, sleeping with tons of men, having no meaningful relationships, likes to pretend she's having a great time but every so often delves into her real feelings and she's not feeling good. I read this blog and I'm like, THANK GOD. I have a wonderful husband and a Torah home and I'm living the true life. And sometimes it's hard when my shaitel is hot and it's 90 degrees outside and my neckline makes me look dumpy. But seriously, what's my alternative? This is one example, and it ain't pretty.
