I am at my wits ends. My just-over-two year old is in bed by 8, does not fall asleep until 845 at the earliest and is up at 615. Tonight I put him in at 730 and at 9 he came down the stairs wide awake, and I am sure he will be up at 615 again tomorrow. Is this normal?! He does nap at the gan, but I dont think it's any more than 1.5 hours - if that long. What is so frustrating to me (besides the fact that he sleeps in the same room as his 4-year old brother who NEEDS his sleep, and keeps him up) is that in my mind this is not enough sleep for him and I think this is damaging to him.
Anybody else out there with a toddler who just needs less sleep. I am so frustrated and don't know what to do!
