do you have spice and spirit cookbook? Choc. Chip cookies recipie the first one I make it all the time with whole wheat flour you can also use the receipie for sprinkle cookies I think this is the recipie.

3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup oil
2 eggs
2 1/2 cup flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 cup choc. chips.

As an aside I usually do less oil and only put in once 3/4 cup of sugar I use what I have if I have brown I use 1/2 brown and 1/2 reg. sugar if I only have reg. sugar I use that. Comes out yummy. sometimes I add a bit of cinamon or cocoa to make it extra choclatey.

Enjoy!

The Spice and Spirit honey cookies are great with whole wheat as well.

I generally make my cookies with whole wheat flour, chocolate chip, honey, but not sugar cookies unless I want that flavor. My brownies I make with whole wheat as well.

I got this recipe on Gourmet Kosher Cooking, (Gourmet Kosher Cooking) and they came out AMAZING:

"Everything" Oatmeal cookies

1¼ cups margarine, softened
1 cup sugar
1¼ cups brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
⅓ cup crunchy peanut butter
1¼ cups flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon baking powder
1½ cups quick cooking oats
1¼ cups raisin bran cereal
1 cup chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream together margarine and sugars until fluffy. Beat in eggs, vanilla and peanut butter. On low speed, add flours, baking soda and baking powder. Fold in the oats, raisin bran and chocolate chips. Mix well. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets. Bake for about 12 minutes. Let set briefly; then remove to wire rack to finish cooling.
