Do you pay for heating your home? Or do you have a landlord that pays?

From what month to what month do you usually have heating?
How much do you usually pay for your heating bills?

We pay for our heat.

There are years we haven't put the heat on though.

We heat now when we need to because we have a child with chronic illness.

If it drops to a level that sweaters are on and people are still cold we put the gas heat on. The most I can remember paying was ~700nis for two months of gas in the winter.

this will be a first, for me. I'm trying to not use the heat(gas). our bill was astronomical last year. I used it for hot water baths EVERY NIGHT. and the heat was on from 5pm till bed then again, 5am to 6am.
a friend of mine, her bill is small every winter. not sure, how much, I thought it was rude to ask her embarrassed
she mentioned in a conversation, that she keeps the heat(gas) on really low, so the hse, stays warm. the bill goes up, because of the temp.

It's part of the charges. Heating from October to April.
We like it around 20/21, but since several radiators are so old they're "stuck" on maximum, it's more like 23/24 and sometimes we have to open the windows Rolling Eyes

We pay for our own. Its part of our gas bill - usually around $100-150 in the winter. It would be less but DH likes it at 68.
