I want to train to become a doula. So do several other ladies in my community. All the workshops seem to be on Shabbat. Are there any dona certified doula instructors on imamother? Can you help me set up a class in my community?

I think if you have enough people you can organize a class in your area. I know they have offered the class as a non-shabbos option in Baltimore.

What's enough people? I really want to do this as do a few of the ladies in my community. We are willing to organize something but need to find an instructor. Anyone out there?

I had the same issue when I was looking. All the workshops where Sat/Sun. Even the few trainers
I contacted, (who had previously done non-Saturday trainings) weren't willing or able to do a session at another time.
I ended up training through CAPPA with Chana Luba Ertel. It was midweek.

I emailed the DONA doula trainer here who regularly runs weekend workshops, and asked her to do a weekday one. She was willing to do it as long as at least one other student signed up (which b"H happened). I also told her I'd be willing to pay her to run a "private" workshop, I.e. in my home, with just me, if the other option didn't work out. She was willing to do that as well.
