ISO a recipe for Tuna - like the stores make it...or like you buy in a container from Tuv Taam, etc...
Exact measurements would be helpful.
My family loves tuna from the store...but it is so expensive. I would love to make my own, but I do not know where to start.
TIA

I mix the tuna with mayonnaise well so it doesn't have chunks in it, comes out smooth. I put about 2 tablespoons, or till I see it's not dry anymore.

Put it in the food processor. Beyond that, don't know.

This is the best tuna ever
6 oz. can chunk lite tuna in water, drained
3 Tbsp fine bread crumbs
3 Tbsp mayonnaise
Mash tuna well. Add breadcrumbs and mayonnaise. Mash until well combined.
It really doesn't need anything else spice-wise, especially if you are using Hellman's mayo.
But you can add sliced scallions or chopped pickles if you need it.

I think the store's tuna has tiny pieces of celery ground up with the tuna in the food processor. And mayonnaise. I don't taste any spices...
Btw, thanks for this thread. I was just soo hungry and I couldn't decide what to eat, and then I saw this, and said, Tuna!! So now that I'm finished eating my yummy tuna with tons of mayo, I'm back here to post
