Does anyone have one-pot delights for fish or chicken?
Either could include veggies/rice/potatoes.

This week for Shabbos I made chuck steaks over red potatoes, onions, and portabella mushrooms.
It was great, I didn't have to make any other side dishes.
(But I still made soup).

Willow, like what?
I want to know what kind of spices/sauce to use when it's chicken & rice or chicken & potatoes.
Thanks.

I think there's a recipe in Spice and Spirit for Arroz con Pollo (rice w/ chicken)...just look at it for the idea, and don't worry about following it to the letter
When I make chicken and potatoes, I either do BBQ sauce (sometimes with some honey) or roasted chicken. I'm into regular, heimish food, and nothing fancy
You can also add some zucchini or other veggies to the chicken to add even more of a side dish.
