I've sent in my resume to some places. Do I follow up with an email? If yes,how soon after from when I emailed it. Also what would I write?

I would follow up with either a phone call or an email. I am not sure how soon you should follow up. I think a week is playing it safe.

You should definitely follow up. write them an email saying thank you for giving me an opportunity....google it and just copy it(google follow up email). that's what I did. then after about 4 days call for a follow up. DO IT!!!! you have to be persistent, that's how I got my job!
