I also heard that and bought one...but can't do it for the life of me...I guess if I would practice I probably would eventually be able to do it....Good luck!!

I'm sure it's good exercise but it can't be your only exercise. You need weights as well as cardio for optimum benefit. You also can't do it long enough to bring your heart rate into fat burning m ode. For that, you need at least 20 solid minutes of cardio.

The hoola hoops for exercise ARE weighted. I know several people who have had great results from doing it for 30 mins a day or 20 mins twice a day. Good luck!
