I do.

why wouldn't it be kosher? do you eat the wax? do you pour it on your food?

I heard it's not as it's Trief but that was for crayons. When we used to do art projects like that the camps had a separate microwave for taht purpose. AYLOR

My daughter burned herself pretty badly using wax from a microwave--this happened in Israel where she attended school.

(I also heard that Shrinky-Dinks were ok in the oven, years back.)

ValleyMom - with wax you can only heat up 15 sec and then test. if you heat it correctly you won't burn yourself

I did it once or twice. I never thought it was a question since it was the roll-on type the wax was inside a closed bottle. The reason why I stopped using the microwavable wax was I received a huge burn from it. I got for $30 a warmer and love it.

I thought it would be a problem but I asked my Yeshivish LOR who said it was ok because it's not edible.
