I'm looking for an easy read, inspirational, positive book for a secular single girl thinking of becoming religious. she just got engaged, so something with marriage, women in the home, the strengths of women, and women in judaism. I don't know how much she'll even read it, so it should be very practical, hands on, and easy to read, yet inspirational for her.
anything to suggest??

I never read this myself, but I understand it's supposed to be a great book for the purpose you're looking for. the author is affiliated with Aish Hatorah, I believe.

I loved No Greater Treasure by Shoshana Lepon. It basically short stories of women from the Tanach and the Gemara. Includes Rachel, Rabbi Akiva's wife, Kimchit and Chana. It was written really well though I'm not sure if it's still in print.
Someone once reccomended a Woman's Wisdom by Lazer Brody. I never read it but I know many ppl. love his books.

They do but I don't know if they should be read without a context, mentor, etc.

I would ditto "To Be a Jewish Woman" by Lisa Aiken.
Its more of an intellectual read than an inspirational one though...

The Akien book is great. What about Hide and Seek? It's all about hair covering-it comes from a bunch of perspectives.
You say is thinking about becoming religious but just got engaged. What about her fiancee? Where is he in terms of observance?

What about a book by Gila Manolson? She seems to reach out in her writing.
