I´m looking to buy a reasonably priced desktop. Whats your opinion? Whats the difference between these two brands?Because AMD is much cheaper...or is it worth it to spend on Intel?

all depends what you want to do. Imamother email a little w proc, buy the cheap one.
A network with several servers running graphic instensive applications for an engineering project, you might want the Intel chip..

All my computers have AMD. DH and I, who are both IT professionals, did research on comparing speeds, cores and also looked at the price.
Truth is, if you are an everyday user (internet, emails, streaming, shopping) you will be best off saving your money, if you are a hardcore gamer then it is different.
