Does the chicken come out dry? There doesnt seem to be much liquid or moisture inside the pastry.
Also, what do you serve it as? appetizer?

Made it yesterday, I didn't taste the chicken yet, but the sauce is yummm!!!
TIP: Keep the chicken thin. when I made it yesterday some of them were thicker then others - I had one or two that the chicken wasn't full ready but the rest was and if I kept it longer it would burn...so....
ENJOY!!

We made them again for Succos (actually my 16- y.o. DD did them for me. She is the pickiest eater and she likes them so much, she insists on making them for each Y"T). I gave the recipes to 2 friends as well, and got all around rave reviews! For something so uncomlicated, it really goes over well.
Note: I find that the filling and sauce are enough for 20 knishes, so I buy 2 of the pastry square packages. And, no, they are not dry.
