Does anyone know how to make hash browns? I would appreciate detailed instructions, thanks.

depends on how you like them... but this is how I make mine:
Cut an onion in small pieces and fry them for about 5 min to get the flavor
Peel and cut your potatoes in small cubes
add the potatoes to the pan with with the onions
add salt, pepper and enough paprika to add a little color (and maybe a bit of garlic powder if you like..)
cover and check on them about every 5-7 min mixing them around so they dont stick to the bottom of the pan, but at the same time letting them cook (thats why you need to cover them) and after about 20 min to a half hour they should be ready and SUPER tasty!
