I just ordered new metallic vertical blinds for a large picture window in my front room. Actually the saleslady showed me so many books of samples I was overwhelmed. But I didn't realize the ones I ordered were "metallic" until after I purchased them a brought a sample home with me. My question is: What exactly are "metallic" blinds, and how do they differ from the regular plastic ones?
