My five and eight year old boys were given $50 each. The five year old wants a transformer or a remote controlled something or possibly both. I need a recommendation for a website or brand.
My eight year old has no clue what he wants but I don't want him to waste it on something silly.
Any recommendations would be much appreciated

First, each gives $5 to tzedaka. Then they can spend what's left. I can't tell you what to allow them to purchase.

Yes, Lego. And to make it an even more special treat (depending on where you live), see if there's a Lego store near you so they can pick their own pieces or sets.
