Being a solution-oriented person and wanting to have a positive experience on this web site, I decided to open the browser in a separate window just for Imamother, keep it open, and stay logged in. This seemed to be the perfect solution to the nuisance of opening the browser and signing in every time I wanted to visit Imamother. Well, I re-discovered that we don't live in a perfect world when I discovered that I had been logged out. LOL LOL LOL So I had to go back and find the email that reminded me of my password I had forgotten so I could log in again.

At least this time when I logged in, the posting opportunity was right in front of me, exactly where I left it when I left the page to do something else.

As for making Aliyah with no degree, no money, and no Hebrew, I did that a little over 20 yrs. ago when I was over 50 yrs. old.

Because I didn't have a degree in XYZ but experience in a number of things, I was in a better frame of mind to work in whatever I could. Because I had no money, I was more motivated to be creative in finding solutions, and because I wanted to learn Hebrew to be able to read and write, as well as speak, I dropped out of two different ulpanim after a month in each. When I asked how to spell something (in Hebrew), I was told not to write anything, just listen and speak, I wondered how I could review at home without having notes. I refused to use the crutch of transliteration.

Eventually, with the help and advice of a number of people and books, I developed a textbook to learn and teach Hebrew so that the student would be able to read and understand the siddur, chumash, and other holy books, as well as speak the holy language if necessary.

Today, at age 70 (yesterday), I own a business and am a teacher.

You are welcome to pm me if you want to know more details.
