I sons 4th birthday was this week, we made a construction site birthday party....
Check out the cake and fruit basket I made.
I even turned the table into a street, and posted construction signs all over the walls.
(I have fun doing these things, started planning for the next sons party in 3 weeks)

Thanks for the compliment. I'd love to do party planning. It's a something I really enjoy, but I really don't know if I'm good enough or if people would where I live are interested in paying for that service. Plus I'm on the shy side, and that's a very people person type of job.

This was my first attemped at fondant. Dont try a new thing on a short friday, probably would have come out much nicer if it wasn't done at 2 o'clock on a 4 o'clock shabbos with still much todo before shabbos.

Wow! For a first time fondant user, that's great. I made DS a cake with Barney on it last night. It is so lousy looking, I'm embarrassed to put a picture of it with my other cake pictures. BH it's only us eating it.
