There is a lot of talk about "anglo-yeshivish" olim not fitting into Israeli society bec there basically is no category for them. My question is, if there are more and more of us, don't we then become a group and a legitamite segment of society? I'm not saying that anglos should stay anglos and should not integrate with the rest of society. I'm saying that if there are enough of us out there and if there are schools out there that cater to the yeshivish population then why should our kids be confused? Maybe some Israelis would then see the pros to our system and would join us to. I hear more and more that certain segments of chareidi society are changing and do see the need to broaden their outlook a bit. I'm not saying that there is anything wrong with being charedi. I am just saying that maybe it's ok to be "anglo yeshivish" too.

Schools have been created, many closed or changed. This is the big problem also for Europe yeshivish. At least Anglo yeshivish have a big number compared say to French yeshivish, not even speaking of others!
It seems to me the Israeli society is too much of "two groups" frumkeit wise (dati vs charedi), as opposed to continuum in chul (where a strong MO, a JPF and a modern charedi could marry, for example, and most adaptations would be on level of practice, chumrot or not, not so much on hashkafa), hence integration problems.
There are other reasons too, and people fighting for this for years now. A specialist told my dh, IYH in 10 to 20 years the situation for the yeshivish will be ok and there will be an alia wave.

RBS A, Har Nof, just to name two places.
I dont really see your point. You find your place and thats that. I am 100% sure that there are many yeshivish olim in Israel. I know a few (they happen to be in RBS A)

You can definitely find your place and chevra! The problem is a school, if neither dati nor Israeli charedi goes. The school may not want you, or you may not want the school's hashkafa.
Ask Chavamom, or search engine "Orlowek", I can pm you numbers/emails of specialists of the question, if you want to know more.
