I taught 3rd grade limudei kodesh for a few years many moons ago and am now seriously considering teaching either limudei kodesh or chol for 5th grade. I've got 5 kids at home ranging from age 7 to 3 mos., b"H, and am very nervous about having enough time for prep.
Does anyone have any experience/recommendations for texts or curriculum for 5th grade English studies? Anyone have names of great teachers who know appropriate texts to use hashkafically?
Many thanks!

Does your school have a curriculum? That would be my starting point.

What Sherri said. At that level just about every school I've ever set foot in supplies at least the texts they want you to use (though curriculum is sometimes looser depending on the school; if yours isn't strong you might want to look for one from another school to help you out)
