I just got into frum novels after long reading haitus. I really enjoyed all of her writing, and am lookig for another author of frum novels who is as good (or better).

Things a appreciated about her writing: character development, comfortable command of the english language, and in some of her books- the suspense. (others were a bit less exciting, but I stlll enjoyed.)

please only respond if you like her writing, I can't afford a L"H bathing thread on my head this week!

Etka Gitel Schwartz has great character development and language. Haven't read many of her novels, only the latest one as a magazine serial, but that one had suspense too.

Dittos to answers above.
Meir Uri Gottesman's books, especially Deep Blue and Morningstar (The Harp's great too) might fit the bill.

M Kenan. Really fascinating. If it's reprinted, I hope they include at least some of the historical research done.
