ANYONE HAS A GOOD PURPLE CABBAGE SALAD... TAHTA HAS AS DRESSING, MAYO, GARLIC, VINEGAR, ETC..?

The Famous Purple Salad
Slice (on coarse blade) a red cabbage or cut into small pieces.
Cut up a bunch of scallions
Mix in large serving bowl.
Add dressing:
Healthy splash of olive oil to coat lightly
1/3 tsp garlic powder
1/4 cup white vinegar
5 or 6 shakes of soy sauce
1/4 tsp ginger powder (optional, for a little Asian flavor)
a handful of Sesame seeds, toasted in oven for a few minutes until brown – serve sprinkled on top for maximum crunch

thats the same recipe I use,
sometimes I add some brown sugar for a sweet tang,
and for color and crunch,
some mandarin oranges and chow mein noodles.

Ingrediants:
Pkg of purple cabbage
Handful of sesame seeds
Chow mein noodles
Honey coated nuts
Dressing:
1/3 C Olive oil
1/3 C Sugar
1/3 C Lemon Juice
2 Tbl Soya sauce
Dress right before serving and sprinkle the nuts and noodles over it, enjoy!

this one is simple and good.
1 med. purple cabbage, sliced or diced
1/2 red onion, sliced
1/2 c. craisons
mayo, salt, b.pepper, sugar
mix well.enjoy.

Mine is a variation of all the above:
Salad:
Shredded Cabbage
Shredded Carrots
Sliced scallions
when serving, add:
canned mandarin slices
toasted sesame seeds
sliced almonds
Dressing:
Canola oil
few drops toasted sesame oil
few drops soy sauce
3 chopped garlic cloves
small piece chopped fresh ginger
rice vinegar
brown sugar
Shake dressing up, and toss with salad til well coated. Enjoy 8)

So here's mine:
Salad:
Purple Cabbage
Avocado
hearts of palm
grape tomatoes
or:
purple cabbage
avocado
canned mandarin segments
craisins
chow mein noodles
heats of palm
Dressing:
3-4 cloves garlic
1/2 c. ketchup
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. mustard
1 tsp. canola oil
1/2 c. viniger
1/2 c. sugar
This one is REALLY good.
