I'm still hunting for a new wig, but once I find one- is it ok to buy it by one person and cut it by s/o else?
What do I do if the cut is incl in the price of the wig?
And how do I let the seller know I'm not cutting it by her?
Or is this a majorly rude and offensive thing to do?
Has a/o done this?

Just say you want to play around with it a little at home before you decide on a cut.

I would be direct so that I could negotiate a discount of the cost of the cut. $200 is fair. There is a hugh markup in sheitals so the SM marks a good profit on the sale.

I had her trim a little off and then said it was enough.
So she felt good. Then I went to someone that had a "name' for cutting. It did help that I moved away soon after so she never really saw the cut.

I've done it. I just said I had someone else in mind for the cut and asked if there was a price difference if I don't have her cut it. She took off $100 for not getting the cut.

Most people will not take off more than $100 for not including the cut.

Someone I know took $250 off the cut. (That is the price that she usually charges for a cut).
