My mixer died erev shabbos & I still need to bake cakes before pesach.
I'll run out to the store tonight to get a new one, but I have no idea which size bowls I need.
The sunbeam with a 4 qt bowl is reasonably priced at the buzz.
Bu the big question is can it hold 9 egg whites without overflowing?

I did 10 egg whites plus quite a few other ingredients in a 5 qt. bowl, so I would think that a 4 qt. bowl would be fine.

I can easily whip up 8 egg whites in my 4.5 liter Kitchenaid bowl. I think one more egg and a little less room would be okay, but then again, my eggs are medium eggs. If you are using x-large of jumbo eggs the answer might be different.
Worst case, you whip up half of the eggs and transfer them to a second bigger bowl while you whip the second half.

I did a snow and then added the ingredients, if that helps.
