These are too delicious. Not sure how healthy they are but here goes:
Granola Bars
2 cups Oatmeal
1 cup Rice Crispies
1 Cup Corn Flakes
1/2 cup slivered almonds
1/2 cup coconut
2/3 cups Brown Sugar
1/2 cup honey (I used part agave syrup, part honey. Sometime I use Silan)
1/4 cups oil
1/4 tsp. cinammon
2/3 cup chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Combine oatmeal, Rice Krispies, Cornflakes, almond, coconut on a baking sheet and TOAST for 10 minutes, mixing half way through.
Place Brown Sugar, honey, oil, cinammon in a saucepan and cook till melted.
Mix toasted stuff and liquid. Place in 9x13, cover with parchment and press hard. Let cool for 3 hours.
Yields 16 bars.
I cannot remember where I got this from or I would credit them (probably a magazine)
They are so delicious!!!!!
