Does anyone know what the going rate is for part time (20 hrs/week) office work in Brooklyn NY?

Depends a lot on how much experience you have.
For an experienced worker, probably about 20.00 to 30.00 per hour.

where do you live?
Starting salary is between $10-$12. If someone is amazing, they may start with $15.

I agree with the above poster. The majority of places start around $12 an hour in Brooklyn

Depends on what type of office work.
Entry level is usually $10.
Sometimes $12 in a harder job.
Most places will average for a secretary at $15 but if you get $18 count your lucky blessings!
$20-$30? Can I have their number please?!

Im aware that under 15 is totally taking advantage of your worker. The going rate is 15+ at least all the jobs iv been looking into!!

Really? My friend who takes care of insurance in a dentist office and she is only making thirteen an hour. I find it hard to believe that the going rate is $15 an hour. I have a very generous boss and am making $17 but I have a very demanding job as well.
