Can you please
Just hold me tight
While I
Unravel
Like a ball of yarn
Can you be there
Hear me scream
Like I'm insane
Or just a child in pain
Can you watch those walls
Crumble brick by brick
Til all that remains
Are just raw bleeding wounds
Can you do that
I know you can't
Therefore
I will stay coiled
Ill bite my lips
Let those walls keep me safe

your poem brought a lot of emotion - I totally hear what you're saying ...
once I even begged someone to hold me while I cried ... she thought I was insane, gay and/or weird [not that there's anything wrong with either of those things]
what can you do when you need to be held & people are too afraid of raw emotion ?!?!?!
I guess write a poem & so I will share the poem that op inspired me to write ...
