I would like to go learn either a nurse or a midwife.
where did you take your degree? feedbacks?
price, how long etc

I'm located in BP, I prefer online or evening classes

from what I know of nursing schools there is no way you can learn it online (maybe some pre-reqs) because you actually have to learn hands on. nursing school includes clinicals at different hospitals etc doing shifts. Its really a full time endeavor. no night or online classes.

also most midwives (at least the certified legal ones) must become a nurse first. (from my understanding)

my doula is going to become a midwife (just got accepted) and first has to become a nurse.

(this info is based off my knowledge of a few friends that recently went thru nursing school and some quick research. google nursing schools or midwifery schools in new york and you will see)

agree with the above, in NY the legal mw's are all nurse-midwives.
