Can anyone help me with info on Gan yisroel cheder & school? What type of ppl send there? how is their curriculum?

I was an assistant there the first year out of sem and I was really impressed with what I saw... It had such a warm friendly envirement and they truly made the students feel each Yomtov coming up with special programs and fun Rosh chodesh assemblies. there was also a really beautiful school magazine put out monthly for parents. They had beautiful large classrooms with desks only part of the classroom, tables and chairs another part for group work etc, and bentches for discussion times. Really organized and happy place to be.

As far as I know... There are many gan yisroel camps though. I've also seen the school mentioned numerous times on this site. ;-)
