I have a new sheitel that I see needs more hair added on the top (multi-directional area). How would they add hair? I think I heard that you cant add hair to a multi-directional top other than sloppily sewing in strips, and then its not multi-directional any more.
If that is the case, why would anyone buy multi-directional? When it thins on top, you have to throw it out?
Unfortunately this is a new wig thats already too thin. Either the color person messed up and hair thinned or it was always a thin sheitel. Its a Red Label by Georgie. WWYD?

Hairs get knotted in individually not in strips so the multi directional benefit remains the same. But you do see little ends sticking out (think of tying a knot on one end of a string, you have the long strand and then you have the short tiny end after the knot). And its a little more bulky than a natural multi. Some people purposely add hair so they can have some height.
