We have a few things in boxes that are heavy and we want to put in the attic. We found a college kid who will help us move them up, for pay, because I am too weak and pregnant to help DH.
DH says they are pretty heavy.
How much do we pay the college kid?
I realize this might vary from place to place, but trying anyway.

I had the same situation over the summer. I paid him $50 plus let him take anything from those boxes that I chose to discard.

Is that per hour or for the job?
It's six boxes. We'd give him a ton of stuff if he wanted any of it...

for the job.
although I can't imagine 6 boxes will take more than an hour.
