Dont know which forum would be the proper place to post this, but since this topic pertains to a lot of people in this forum, I decided to post this here.
I hope someone can help me out.
I'm doing a research project for university and need to find more studies done on the effects (if there are, negative and positive) on behavior on children who have moms that work outside the house. Have done a lot of research but need more statistics to pull it all together.
Does anyone knows of such studies, or can lead me in the right direction as to where to find this?
Essay about specifically children from 2 parent, middle class working families as apposed to those with stay at home moms.

I don't know studies for you, but would love to hear what your research has found...

There was a Klal Perspectives devoted to the issue of working moms. One or two of the articles had references to studies done on the effect of working mothers on children's behavior and development.

I don't have sources at hand, but do remember reading somewhere the results of such studies are quite inconclusive. There were major differences in outcomes depending on what quality care children of working parents received, whether it was one-on-one, high-caliber nannies or in unregulated large-group settings with sub-standard care.
