I used to keep one box of sugar cereal just for emergencies. I knew my kids would eat it without a fuss.

It is healthier than hot dogs, and many parents give that for dinner.
There is no problem with cereal for dinner. Who makes up these rules anyway?

In some belgian circles, bread, butter/jelly etc and milk or whatever is standard for dinner
