Um. I feel very dumb. What's the connection to sefer Shemos?

When the kids in other classes find out there's ice cream, there will be a mass EXODUS from their classrooms to Op's dd's classroom. and ice cream cones look like pyramids. (not really, but it was the best I could do on the fly.)

You got it. That was dd's rationale.

Gosh, really? Okay, this doesn't make me feel less dumb.

It's ok. You don't think like a fifth grade girl. She was able to convince me to buy her class two gallons of ice cream and jumbo cones. I guess that was the idea.

Does that mean I DO think like a 5th-grade girl? OY VEY!!!

You are smart enough to figure out what someone who thinks differently than you is thinking. Smile

I'm ready to eat ice cream any time of year, any day of the week. The real deal, if you please, not that petroleum-based garbage that is served at fleishik dinners. You know it can't be good if it doesn't...ever...melt.

Mommyz, 2 gallons of CY ice cream??

That's a lot of 17 girls! And super pricey too.

Maybe go with ring pops next time. LOL

$24 is a lot to spend on a siyum. Maybe next time give her a budget and let her choose what she wants.

Is two gallons a lot for 17 girls or is it just me? I guess with the cones though... (Keeping up with the cones? Wink )
Either way, again, I understand how it might not be so easy to get off so cheaply. And for today, you were a hero. Just revel in it, let your daughter revel in it, and you can mention that next year you might try to get more creative to keep the costs down.
