Mid winter vacation is coming up! I have four kids, ages 6-4 months. I really don't want to take them anywhere during the day, I'm going to be by myself and it's way to stressful for me. So what fun activities can we do at home? Any ideas are welcome! Thanx!

Buy the Morah music cd it's so fun. You can buy new toys/or bubbles for the bath. Try to go out once a day so they don't go too stir crazy even if its for ice cream. Get together with a friend and have your kids play together.

Play dates
I had a discussion with my crew and told them to write or draw all the things they want to to this vacation:
Playdates (One or two days this vacation at our home)
trip to OH NUTS for a candy expidition and pizza
make robots out of tin cans
roller skating or ice skating (we'll see...)
Movies (the Lego movie if it comes out)
and bowling. (another we'll see because its expensive!)
Ask your kiddos and see what they come up with! Thats half the fun!
Then ofcourse do what you are capable of. One or two outings could really make a fun week for you and the kids or even hosting a playdate.
Have fun.....and remember enjoy your break from school too
