Do I have to give more than 2 weeks notice to my current employer? There's no outstanding work and the 2 weeks should be sufficient. Boss is making me feel bad about it.

2 weeks is what is generally accepted as proper. Your boss is just trying to make you feel bad. Don't.

as a boss myself, the more notice the better. 2 weeks is kinda short to find and train someone in. your boss is not running a business for his health...can you offer a little more time on the job till things are in place?
