This is really shocking and sad. I cannot believe that a person can be dead for a year and no one relizes.

There's some info missing, it seems. No electricity keeps going without payment for a full year... Makes no sense that the TV was still on. A mailman would've picked up that the mail piled up for a year etc..

I don't buy everything I hear in the news these days... Sad story, if it is indeed true.

If his pension was still going into his bank account and the electricity was being paid by direct debit then it could very well have happened.

What I find so incredibly tragic is not only how he left this world alone but in life it seems he was isolated and alone, old, sick and blind with noone to asist him, love him, support him, tragic!
