Hi there,
I am looking for childcare for my baby -- she'll be 16 months this fall -- in Oak Park/Southfield. I am looking for something from 9:30ish until 1:30ish. MUST be liscenced.
I checked out one place that came highly recommended but there were sooooo many kids and while the caregiver was absolutely meeting their needs and keeping them safe, she really wasn't engaging them at all. They all just sat in a room playing with toys while she was changing diapers, feeding, etc. each one as needed.
From my gut response to this, I see I'm looking for a much smaller group where the caregiver will be on the floor with the kids, playing with them, reading them stories, singing them songs, etc.
I am DESPERATE for leads.
