Bought a big package of yeast 2 weeks ago from Costco and inadvertently, after using it and putting it in a Ziploc bag I put it in my pantry instead of the fridge. Will it still work, is it bad to use, do I need to schlepp out now and buy new yeast (B"H shabbos starts late!)

Test it. Put some in warm water with a bit of sugar and see if it bubbles.

Should be totally fine. I never keep dry yeast in the fridge.

I'm assuming this is fresh yeast.
I imagine that the yeast will have thrived in your pantry. you may want to use less than usual in your recipe, see what happens. but I never tried this, so I don't know if it will be ok.

Oh, I've never seen fresh yeast at costco, so I assumed she meant dry.
