Hi,
Im wondering if anyone heard of a school named positive beginnings in flushing queens or middle-town.

Yes. I used to live literally across the street from the queens one. Its mainly mexican and african american kids with a small all jewish class. From looking out my windows and passing many timea a day, I can tell you that the teachers appear kind and dedicated. I know a few therepists there as well who are kind and competent. If you send there, just make sure you get into the jewish class.
