I chose other.
I can't say I've changed anything huge or fundamental, but yes, I've changed a bit.
I always find it a bit strange when people say "I've never ever changed." To me that means you aren't open to new information and incorporating it into your life. That's not a positive, that's a negative.
I've learned a lot from various people on here. I've gotten advice, I've vented and I've learned. I definitely understand more about other sides, even if I don't always agree with them.

Change my mind, more like learn new facts. Which helped me find the natural clinic available in a neighbour city, that I didn't know of before googling (in English, at the times there was nothing in French) about natural birth.

It gave me the courage to act on my convictions and insist on no metzitza b'peh for my last boy. Also, I once posted about an argument with DH and everyone agreed with him so I realized I was wrong.

I think a lot of us don't realize how much spending time on here DOES change us. We think we are the same, but it slowly seeps into us. There was a recent thought I had that I realized was from a certain attitude/perspective here on the site, and I was just adapting it to the scenario I was thinking of. It kind of bothered me, as that was not the perspective I think was right, and I caught myself.
I have seen long term posters who completely changed their beliefs from when they first started posting and they don't even realize it, and deny they ever thought differently. But the posts are there It could be imamother, it could be wisdom with age, who knows....but we don't always realize how we have changed, and it's scary. It's not usually a conversation that does it, but the subtle tweaking of our thoughts after constant exposure, drilling into us a little at a time.

Unfortunately, I have learned from imamother that we, as a people, have a tendency to be so incredibly judgemental and critical. Some of us looooooove to be right, and love to stand on a pedestal and bask in the applause when criticizing others.
