Do you give it in to Shevy or have it dyed locally? What has been your experience either way?

I've done both. I think the Shevy dye lasted longer but I don't remember exactly. I think the Shevy job also took a few weeks (I was seeing in more hair also at the same time) while the local person just took a week. I was happy with how my wigs looked both times.

ive also done both. first with shevy and they covered the cost because it was the first time within a year of my purchase and the wig had oxydized but the next time with a local salon and I was very happy

Thank you both. I was told Shevy charges $180 to dye wigs. I think that's quite steep, no? Does it need to be done once a year or even more often?
