I have a recipe for snow peas ,cucumbers and red pepper . And then of course there is the dressing.
It doesnt say anything about cooking the snow peas.
I have never had them in my life?
How do they 'work'? Do you just cut off the ends and eat them raw?????

cut off the ends crack them open and take out the inside and eat that or you can even eat the whole thing. but as far as I know you eat the inside when its raw, its pretty crunchy

Can eat them raw, however I blanche them first to add extra crunch and beautify the color more. (makes it a brighter green)
blanche: boil water in pot. cut off the small parts at end of snow peas and drop into water for about 2-3 minutes. Drain/rinse. Enjoy!

I love it, but it’s high in starchy sugar, so don’t eat to o much if you’re watching your weight. Same for corn, etc.

My doula told me its a great snack for me to eat while I am at work. Any dark green vegetables like that are so healthy for you.
Raw or steamed is best. If you blanche or boil them you are taking out the nutrients.

I love snowpeas; raw or cooked anyway is great. Sweet and crunchy. I haven't had them in a long long time.

While you can eat them raw, do open them and make sure there are no worms inside.
